This superbly appointed and spacious two bedroom harbour fronted apartment enjoys spectacular and uninterrupted harbour and sea views, taking in St Michael's’ Mount and the coast beyond

Being situated in the sought after and historic area of Chapel Street., once home to Maria Branwell - mother to the Bronte sisters.

Chapel Street is steeped in history with character and charm apparent in its architecture and arts culture.
The Egyptian House – a geological Museum built by Penzance Mineralogist Jon Lavin in 1836 is a must see, as is St Marys Church, a beautiful and inspiring piece of architecture, said to date back to the 13th century and later being extended in the 17th and 18th Century.

In short, Chapel Street offers historical buildings, a select choice of galleries, antique shops, chic wine bars and fine restaurants’, most famously ‘The Abbey’, once owned by the actress Jean Shrimpton from which Mount View is just a stones throw away from.

A short walk from Chapel Street. is the main Market town of Penzance and will find you plenty of good Arts & crafts Galleries, shops, restaurants, pubs.

The harbour, Promenade - with its large art deco open air swimming baths - and the seafront are a two minute walk away. Just down from Chapel Street are Quay Street and the Harbour front. Here you will find an array of water based activities from fishing trips, diving opportunities to day trips by boat to the beautiful Isle of Scilly. The Dolphin Tavern in Quay Street, is rumoured to be one of the most haunted pubs in Cornwall and offers a selection of fine food & Ales and maybe the occasional ‘unseen’ guest!!

It is the ideal base to explore the West of Cornwall: with Lands End, Sennen (white sandy beach with superb surf!) and Porthcurno, home to the famous Minack theatre and a beautiful beach in one direction and Marazion, St Ives, The Lizard and The Cathedral City of Truro in another.

The apartment is to a very high standard and offers full mod cons having been furnished with quality and comfort for guests in mind. A welcome pack consisting of: Tea, milk, coffee & sugar along with a ‘starter pack’ of dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid and toilet rolls.

Living area: Window taking in the views, two large quality leather sofas, large wooden coffee table, 36 inch Flat screen digital T.V with surround sound and freeview, DVD player and a selection of recent released DVD’s

Dining area: Patio doors to a small balcony enjoying the views. Window to the side enjoying rooftop views of the town. Large wood table with four matching chairs.

Reading corner: Window seat and Window enjoying rooftop views of the town small side table, lamp, CD / Stereo player with a selection of CD’s. Selection of reading books.

Kitchen: Two large windows with roof top views towards Penzance Town.
A modern and fully equipped kitchen with full mod cons: Oven / hob, microwave fridge / freezer. dishwasher,
washing machine / tumble drier, 4 slice toaster, blender, kettle and coffee maker along with all necessary cooking utensils.

From the hallway to:

Bathroom: Good sized bathroom complete with bath and shower over, sink, toilet and heated towel rail

Bedroom 1: Good sized double bedroom, window to the side, two bedside tables with lamps, large built in storage cupboards.
