Captains Deck, nestled within a terrace of charming seafront cottages, has recently been sympathetically renovated and tastefully refurbished whilst maintaining and complementing its original art deco style from the original wooden flooring, Fabulous original art deco (working) fireplace to its wonderful original kitchen complete with an original rayburn but also enjoying modern day luxuries of central heating and double glazing throughout.

Situated on the promenade and just a stone’s throw from the sea, it is the perfect romantic getaway for couples or those wishing to holiday alone.

The apartment is on the ground floor and offers stylish, light and spacious accommodation. A large sunny patio area enjoying sea glimpses sits to the front of the apartment, a bench and small table & chairs make this an ideal space for al fresco eating or simply just to sit with a glass of wine and watch the world go by. To the rear is a good sized sunny private courtyard style garden with an abundance of palm tree and fragrant flowers bordering. A BBQ and picnic bench makes for easy alfresco eating and the courtyard is of such a size & privacy that it is ideal for storing surfboards & bikes and drying cloths.

Please note, it is possible to rent both Captains Deck & Captains Lookout together for larger groups or those wishing to holiday together. Can sleep a maximum of 8 when rented together.

Accommodation

All rooms are centrally heated and all original art deco windows are double glazed.

Front door and entrance to:

Lounge: Stylish, light and spacious. Large picture window overlooking the garden, towards to the promenade and having some sea glimpses. Original wooden floors and fabulous original stone Fireplace with (working) open fire. Sofa, large flat screen digital T.V with SKY. , DVD / CD player. Black and white framed pictures of past and present adorn the walls and the wonderful stained glass mirrors and lighting shades give this a very stylish feel.

Hallway leading to:

Kitchen / Diner: Original Art Deco style wooden cupboards with wonderful black and white theme throughout. Double belfast sink, orginal, Gas Cooker, Black and white floor tiles and worktops. Well equipped and appliances include a Microwave / Grill combi, fridge with small freezer compartment, washing machine, toaster & kettle.. To the side of the room is a table and two chairs. Door leading to the large sunny courtyard style garden.

Bedroom: Light, stylish and cosy. Window to the rear courtyard. Original wooden flooring. Double bed, wardrobe with drawers. Good quality bedding and bed linen.

Bathroom: Original Art Deco style to include bath, separate walk in shower cubicle with wonderful large stainlees steel showerhead, basin and toilet. Black and white floor tiling. Small window to the rear.

Outside

Low Garden Gate directly off the seafront & Promenade leads to the apartment which is approached alondside the large front garden and patio. Captains Deck has a large patio area that enjoys all day sun and enjoys some sea glimpses. A table & two chairs along with a bench is provided.

A large sunny and private courtyard style garden with an abundance of fragrant flowers and age old palm trees. With a picnic bench and BBQ provided, there is still ample room to store bikes and surfboards. Washing line.

Apartments provide: Quality bedding, bed linen and towels - please note, beach towels are not provided and we ask that you provide your own.

Centrally heated and double glazed throughout.

Rentals are inclusive of all utilities.

Parking can easily be found along the Promenade where it is free and unrestricted. Alternatively, a pay & display car park is available approx 500 yards away.

We operate a Saturday changeover day.

Strictly 'No Smoking' inside the apartment, however 'butt' bins are provided in the outside areas.
